AI product feed enrichment

Better product data wins better searches

For Boden, Redbrain enhanced more than 8,000 product titles with AI.

Redbrain repairs and rewrites product data at scale, including titles, missing GTINs and attributes, images and product variants, before products enter the auction. Google can only show a product for searches it understands, so better data puts more of your products in front of the right shoppers.

What we fix

The product data that decides which searches you win

Google matches Shopping ads to searches using the product data in your feed. A coded title, a missing GTIN or an empty colour field means a product never shows for searches it should win, however good the product.

Fixing that by hand across thousands of products is not realistic. Redbrain does it with AI across your whole catalogue, and keeps doing it as your range changes.

  • Titles

Coded or thin titles rewritten to lead with what shoppers type: brand, product type, then the details that decide a purchase, such as colour, size and material.

  • Missing GTINs

Missing product identifiers found and added, so Google can match the product to the searches and listings it belongs in.

  • Attributes

Empty fields like colour, material, size and age group filled in, giving Google more to match a search against and more to filter on.

  • Images

Images that hold a product back repaired, so it can be approved and show properly in the Shopping carousel.

  • Product variants

Sizes and colours set up as separate variants, so each one can show for the search that asks for it.

  • Highlights and Q&A

Short product highlights and answers to the questions shoppers ask before they buy, the content AI shopping assistants draw on. Most feeds carry none.

The results

Tested on real catalogues, at real scale

Boden

8,000+

product titles enhanced with AI

Alongside the titles, Redbrain A/B tested AI changes to Boden’s titles, descriptions and product attributes, adding 5.11% more traffic at an early stage. The wider campaign brought 3,000 dormant products back to life, with 133% click-to-sale growth, and won Gold at the 2026 Performance Marketing Awards.

+4.5%

revenue from products with AI-written content

We split more than 22 million products from 520 retailers in two. Half got AI-written highlights and Q&A, half stayed unchanged. The enriched half made 4.5% more revenue, with 2.0% more impressions and 2.6% more clicks. Google named Redbrain its Agentic Commerce Trailblazer for the work.

How we ran the test

Accuracy first

AI you can trust with your catalogue

Every change is tested before it reaches a live listing, and measured after. Results depend on what you sell: in our test, technical products like electronics gained most, while luxury and premium fashion, where the brand’s own copy already does the job, saw no added value.

Because we are paid only when your products sell, we keep only the changes that help them sell.

  • Checked for invented facts

Every fact the AI adds beyond your feed is pulled out and checked on its own, so a listing never claims a material, size or feature the product does not have.

  • Right language, every time

We write in 15 languages, and every output is checked to be entirely in the language requested.

  • Judged by a second AI

A model from a different provider compares each new version with the current one. A model never grades its own work.

  • Measured against a control

A random share of your products keeps its original content, so we can see what the change is worth for your catalogue and switch off what is not working.

Questions

AI product feed enrichment: frequently asked questions

It is improving the product data Google uses to decide which searches a product shows for. Redbrain uses AI to rewrite titles, fill in missing GTINs and attributes, repair images, set up product variants and add product highlights and Q&A, at the scale of a whole catalogue, before products enter the Shopping auction.

There is no separate fee. Feed enrichment is part of how Redbrain runs your Shopping ads: Redbrain pays for every click, and you pay an agreed commission only on completed sales.

No. Redbrain enriches the product data it lists through its own Merchant Center account. Your own feed, Merchant Center and Google Ads campaigns stay exactly as they are.

On average, yes. In a controlled test across 520 retailers and more than 22 million products, products with AI-written content made 4.5% more revenue than identical products left unchanged. Results depend on what you sell: technical products like electronics gained most, while luxury and premium fashion saw no added value, which is why every rollout is measured against a control.

Every fact the AI adds beyond your own feed is extracted and checked separately before it reaches a live listing. Outputs are also checked for language, generated several times to confirm they are consistent, and compared with the current version by an AI model from a different provider.

Your product feed, the same one you send to Google Merchant Center, and an agreed commission rate. Redbrain handles set-up, feed enrichment and campaigns, and most retailers are live within 48 hours of feed approval.
