Speaking of Lumpy... I was Googling a few thing this week and found this.

Every week I get a bunch of emails from other webmasters for a link on our site. Just so I don't have to turn certain people away or post 1000 links to other people's sites on the front page, I have created the "Friend's of the Brain" list. (See column to the left.) I post the top 25 referrers to our site, listed by who sends us the most traffic. Anyone who has a site can get into our database for the "Friends" list. This week, I get an email from our good friend Uncle Melon, who thanks us for all the "hits, plugs, advice and praise". Ironically, In the next line he goes on to say that he's taking our link down. And will link us back up, if they ever get more traffic. Strange.......I hear the #1 way of getting more traffic, is to take down links to other sites that send you traffic. I guess it is all just a numbers game to some people... Oh well.
